My Story
My name is Sarah and my pronouns are she/her. It's lovely to meet you!

I am originally from Cincinnati, OH but have lived in Indiana since the age of 7. Growing up, I had dreams of studying art, theater, and music. Life changed and I needed to change course with it, so I decided to take my tech-based hobbies and turn them into a career. In 2010 I moved to Indianapolis to continue my education and get a start on my new career. I was lucky and landed a desktop support role at my university within weeks of moving, and have remained an employee there since!

My education path also had unexpected plot twists, however, I have been able to find ways to work with (or around) the obstacles I've faced. If I haven't, then I'm simply not done yet. I am always trying to learn more: new skills, different workflows, adjusting tools, etc. Remaining flexible and figuring out how to truly roll with the punches has been instrumental in navigating the lemons life throws my way, and is something I strive to maintain in both my personal and professional life.
